Dr. Ferezy is a graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic (NWCC).  He completed a two year residency in clinical science at NWCC, where he later served as an Instructor, and ultimately as an Assistant Professor.  Dr. Ferezy is a Fellow of the International Academy of Chiropractic Neurology.  He is editor of a chiropractic textbook, “The Chiropractic Neurological Examination” and contributed a chapter to the textbook, “Advances in Chiropractic”.  Dr. Ferezy was awarded a 2nd place “Best Scientific Paper Award” by the American Chiropractic Association Journal of Chiropractic.  Dr. Ferezy is the program coordinator and lead lecturer for the Neurology Diplomate Programs for Northwestern Health Science University, New York Chiropractic College and Palmer Chiropractic University and has has been the key speaker at hundreds of professional lecture engagements including several in Stockholm Sweden and the United Kingdom.  He has served as a test developer and proctor for the Minnesota Board of Chiropractic Examiners.  Dr. Ferezy regularly serves as an expert witness and has served as a chiropractic expert on behalf of the State of Iowa.  Dr. Ferezy is president of the International Academy of Chiropractic Neurology, and is a past member of its examining board. Currently, he maintains a private practice of chiropractic in Des Moines, Iowa.

Dawn Schissel, M.D.

Dawn Schissel, MD - currently practices medicine in the area of Family Practice at Jordan Creek Family Medicine, a part of the Health, Wellness and Beauty Institute located at the Plaza at Jordan Creek.  Dr. Schissel's undergraduate degree and Medical School degree were obtained at the University of Minnesota.  Her residency was done at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines.  Formerly she was a Staff Physician at Broadlawns Medical Center for 14 years.  Dr. Schissel is a Member and Chair of the State Maternal Child Health Advisory Council; and has won teaching awards from Des Moines University and Broadlawns Family Practice Residency Program.  Her primary Professional Interests are Women's Health and Preventative Medicine.
