Hello. My name is Dr. Ferezy and I have been holding continuing education classes for license renewal of chiropractic doctors in Colorado, as well as several other states, for many years. Iowa and Nebraska have both waived the “Live” continuing education requirement. To my knowledge, currently Colorado allows only a maximum of ten (10) CEU of distance programs per biennium.
I am inquiring as to whether of not this limit has been waived, or is planning to be waived for the current biennium in light of the Corona Virus emergency. Or, if you have any additional information in regard to this issue.

Hello, Thank you for contacting DORA with your question. There are no changes in the continuing education requirements for chiropractors at this time. Although distance learning is limited to 10 CE hours, other online courses may still be credited if they are live and interactive. Let me know if there is a specific website that I might check on a regular basis, an email service that I might subscribe to, or other way for you to keep me apprised of any changes in these rules that might occur due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
